Final expense/GA contracts, is this routine?

I like the way my posts are being quoted for criticism but my last three original posts have been deleted...

Deleting posts is the worst thing you can do as a forum manager. It tells your members that the information (posts) that you decide to leave on the forum are favored for ulterior reasons..

oh man.....you do not know this crowd.....it's for your protection....

First of all, you need to read the forum rules before you post any offers.

Secondly, the companies you speak of may be in YOUR top five, but they may not be the real top 5.

Your top five must not consist of companies where the street level is above 105%.

No you can keep your 125% with a carrier that will cost your clients 15% more on premium. Also anyone with half a brain knows that the top FE carriers are not handing out 125% contracts without production requirements.

My 105% is referring to the lowest premium carriers with the most lenient underwriting. I call them my top 5 carriers...

You are the type of guy everyone loves to HATE... Next time keep your comments to yourself unless you have a comment that might help a person on this forum. By the way if you have 1000 posts then you are not out writing business. Go write $250K then tell me about your 125% carriers

I can see where a person might be hated by someone who has had their hand called for blowing BS. You came to the forum offering nothing other than using it for a recruiting tool and not offering very much along that line either. You have no idea what companies I have 125% with .. What companies do you consider the top 5? Considering I am semi retired, I doubt I will ever come close to producing 250K but after looking at your amateurish website that offers about as much information as your posts on this forum, I seriously doubt you ever have or will either. It is easy to be an internet tiger.

As for number of posts, some of us can walk and chew gum at the same time.. I have posted an average of 2 1/2 times per day. That leaves plenty of time for other things.. Playing with the grand kids, church, working antique auctions as a floor manager, writing articles for publication and maybe if I get in the mood, sell a life or supplemental health insurance policy..Today's sale wasn't a very large policy but it was decent.. $2978.00 premium paid annually and I may decide not to try to sell any more for the rest of the month.

I have always admitted that I am not a large producer but there are others on the forum that have thousands of posts that probably outsell the two of us put together. And, they don't have to brag about it to build themselves up. I have always noticed that true top producers always spend untold hours sharing their knowledge and ideas with others.

BTW, if I remember correctly, you mention Settlers in one of your posts. You certainly can get a better contract with them than 105% and while they are a good company and I really like them (I was contracted with them before they were placed into receivership and then sold to NGL). They are seldom in the best 5 when it comes to premium.

I really wish you the best but just take note that when you come on here bragging that you are offering the best thing since sliced bread it had better be true or someone is sure to call your hand. There are those here that have a very good BS meter and low tolerance for the odor.

When did Settlers go into receivership?

When did Settlers go into receivership?

Believe it was 1999.. They were the victims of a crook named Martin Frankel. At that time they sold cancer insurance (which was our interest in them) and they re-insured it with a company that Frankel had bought in Mississippi. Almost as soon as Settlers transferred the funds to the company for the reinsurance Frankel embezzled it. When the Mississippi company was declared insolvent, the business was transferred back to Settlers appearing on the books as a liability. There were no assets to cover that liability. It as a shame because you would never be able to find a more honest, professional and downright nice couple of men than the ones that ran Settlers, Mr. Walker and Mr. Harmon. Frankel is serving a well deserved 17 year prison term.

Frankel:D:D I saw that clown on American Greed... It takes the DOI in the state of Mississippi to bring down a crook from New Jersey... Leave it to those southern boys...

You attacked me for announcing my offer in the FE Contract post of this forum. You also criticized my offer and then tried to one up my offer. I know you want to have a record number of posts on this forum but criticizing and bullying a person who is posting regarding the title of the post is not a good message to send.. I will take the higher road.

You simply do not know what you are talking about. Don't get prissy when everyone here knows the real story.

I don't know who you call the good companies, but an agent can get 120-130% with RNA, Foresters, Americo, Oxford, etc. without production requirements.

You are not offering anything of substance here with you constant shilling and pimping. I suppose it's good that you think you have a good eal when you don't.

Most education is expensive. You seem to be paying dearly for your's.

It gets pretty deep in here.. I remember getting attacked on the forum 3 years ago for posting a helpful comment or responding to a thread topic.

I figured I would try again but you guys have all the answers and monopolize this forum. Just remember everthing you write shows readers and insurance agents your true personality.

You would do well to take your own advice. It was you that resorted to name calling and hate speech, not I. Don't know how I could one up your offer as I do not recruit at all. All I did was point out the fact there are better offers are out there and that is a fact. Suggest you go back to playing in your own little sandbox under your Mama's watchful eye so you don't have to put up with all these big bad bullies on the forum. Your whining is getting the sand in this one all soggy.

Oh, and it would be nice if you had more than one response. Todd and John are much nicer people than I and do not deserve to be put down by lumping them into the same category.
