FINAL EXPENSE Vs LIFE INSURANCE

Will someone explain to me the difference between Final Expense Insurance &
Life Insurance.

Life insurance includes all policies that pay a benefit based upon the insureds death. It includes term life insurance, Whole-life (final expense is a specific version of whole-life), accidental death insurance, etc.

Final Expense is a niche created within the category of life insurance and is generally considered to be small whole-life policies usually between the amounts of $2,000-$25,000 and usually have relaxed underwriting due to they have table rates built into them. They are designed for rapid decisions, small premiums and small coverage amounts.

Any life insurance can be used to pay your final expenses (funeral, cemetery and other end of life expenses) but policies that are marketed as FE policies are all small simplified issue whole-life policies.

If you are thinking about getting into FE sales, here is some more reading material for you Getting Started with FE Sales
