Getting Top Contracts

Ya, I am looking for companies where I can sign people up for term over the internet. Basically something that is guaranteed issue with good commissions.
The drawback is the guaranteed issue plans typically cost much more for people who could be underwritten and be issued plan at standard or better.

That's why I like PJP. Quality products and they do the work. Or do it yourself and get a higher contract.

Frankly, you need the ability to do both underwritten and easy issue (there is no guarantee issue).

Thanks for the advice Rick. Next week I will be calling both PJP and Lee Associates. Got some big plans for this operation and know I will need to be working with the right people to make it happen.

I want to point out that it's not what you make, it's what you keep. You can get 100% contracts and you do all the work. I take a different angle on this, at least for term insurance.

First of all, keep in mind that you can have mulitple contracts with most of the lower priced term carriers and I have the higher percentages as well. However, I am moving towards selling term insurance over the phone. For that business, especially out of state, I used PJP.

On 20 and 30 year term, you receive 80%. Yes, only 80%. However, once you have the agreement from your prospect to apply, the actual work you do amounts to about 5-10 minutes in filling out a short form on-line. That's it. They do all the rest. You only need to mail out the policy and ask for the first premium.

Now, if my neighbor wants $2,000,000 of 30 yr. ROP and he's 50 and a smoker, I'll take the larger contract and do it myself.

Again, it's not what you make, it's what you keep. Use your contracting ability to get the best deal for yourself, which is not always the highest commission.

So you can have contracts with lets say AIG through PJP and have them also w/ Lee?

The only companies I deal with that will allow more than one appointment per agent are AIG, Genworth, and Mutual of Omaha on the life side only.

However advancing is only available through one IMO/FMO and none of these three companies allow an agent to be appointed at a higher level than they were previously contracted at for 6 months.
Hope this helps.

Lee:

I've been told that Banner, West Coast, etc. allow for multiple contracts. Is that not true?

Rick

Yes,

All the companies I listed plus the banner and west coast allow up to three appointmeants per agent.
