Go to the upper right of the page and you will see an envelope. Click on that, put in Tahoe Ray in the "to" and your message will go to him privately.

Bar across the very top of the forum screen.
Immediately to the right of your user name.
click on envelope.
click start a new conversation.
type tah in the receipient screen (this will shorten the list of usernames the system presents for you to send to).
tahoe ray's user name will be shown in choices spelled the way the forum will recognize it.
select that.
type something in subj box
type your message to ray.
Wait for him to respond.
after he does respond, there will be a red circle show up at the upper right corner of the envelope when you log in.

Underneath Ray's picture, click on his name Tahoe Ray. Then click on start conversation.
