If you want to make more money (let's talk door knocking)

I'm trying to look into it but so far no one I've reached out to has returned replied.

JD says they're pimping it every where but I can't find one anywhere.

And that's why he's the GOAT, and I'm me.
Pimping with no details. Just the fluff of how great it's going to be and will change the industry. No idea on pricing, underwriting, availability, processes, etc.

Five health questions:

1. Within the last 2 years, have you been diagnosed by a health care provider as having a terminal illness, or do you currently reside in a nursing home or assisted living facility, or are you currently under hospice care?

If 'yes', you are not eligible for insurance.

2. Have you ever been diagnosed, treated, tested positive for, or been given any medical advice by a member of the medical profession for AIDS or HIV, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer's, Dementia, or other progressive neurologic disorder?

If 'yes', you qualify for the graded benefit plan.

3. Have you ever been diagnosed, treated, tested positive for, or been given any medical advice by a member of the medical profession for any condition that requires the use of oxygen or dialysis?

If 'yes', you qualify for the graded benefit plan.

4. Within the last 5 years, have you been diagnosed with, hospitalized, treated by a licensed medical profession, or in the past 6 months have you undergone diagnostic testing or been advised of the need for diagnostic testing that has not been completed for Cancer (except basal/squamous cell of the skin), Stroke, Heart Attack, Diabetes
(requiring insulin), Chronic Kidney or Liver Disease?

If 'yes', you qualify for the graded benefit plan.

5. Within the last 5 years, have you been diagnosed with, hospitalized, treated by a licensed medical profession, or in the past 6 months have you undergone diagnostic testing or been advised of the need for diagnostic testing that has not been completed for Anemia, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Huntington's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis,
Alcohol or Drug Abuse, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension or Hereditary Angioedema?

If 'yes', you are still eligible for coverage.

Graded with three levels of Standard

This was copied from a FB post so I cannot be certain of the accuracy of any of it. I presume that there is an eApp and that the MIB/RX will determine which level of standard the client is offered. But that is 100% conjecture on my part.

Ever had anything wrong in your life? If yes, we might offer you graded. :arghh:

I wasn't expecting anything but junk from them. But that's far worse than expected.

Graded for bipolar? Man, that's half my clients!:D

We have a Do Not Knock law in many towns, and you have to register with cities and wear a name badge. What could go wrong?

I have 7 current solicitor's permits in my car right now. By law, in PA, I don't need a permit to sell insurance door to door as the state deems the insurance license as sufficient. But I don't want to have to argue the point with anyone, police or civilian, so what to do? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

For an average cost of about $150 for anywhere from 6 months to a year, it really isn't a big deal at all. Sure, some municipalites charge unreasonable fees, and so I have a choice, I can take my chances (that's what I susually do) or I skip it entirely (which I will do if the police are called and they trespass me from the township for soliciting (hasn't ever happened, not once).

Also, while many towns, townships, and municipalities have DNK without a permit law there are just as many if not more that are "check-in," where all I do is call the police, tell them who I am and what kind of car I'm driving, I'll give them my DL # if they request it, and I tell them I'm knocking door to door in their lovely little town this week, and I'll be on the following streets or in the following neighborhoods so if any one calls to complain about a knocker, that would be me, most likely.

And then there are a surprising number of municpalities that have no law and no check in requirement. I've been knocking a good bit in a township in Lancaster County, PA since December. The first day out I stopped in to see the Popo, and guess what? I said I'm here to knock and they said "well be our guest! Good luck!"

I knock six days a week, Monday through Saturday, 4 hours per day, unless its' raining, snowing, or so cold outside that it makes one think of a certain episode of Seinfeld.

What could go wrong? You might get a whole bunch more appointments and sales than you'd ever had up to this point in your career.

About 7 years ago I did a "December to Remember" where I worked my tail off and just knocked and knocked and knocked. That was final expense, which has not been my main focus for F2F for some time. But I do have the urge. I have for some time. If you work FE and you click with our folks, it gets in your blood a little bit. I tried the phone thing a year or two back. I did ok, but it wasn't for me. I love FE peeps and I love sitting with them in their homes or on their porches and just visiting with them and helping out with a little piece of mind for them and their family. I've been thinking that maybe I'll go and do a solid month on the doors helping the FE demo again - another "December to Remember!" What could go wrong? Absolutely nothing, I'd bet!

I just need some help with a catchy slogan. "December to Remember" had a nice ring to it. But that only works September - December. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe do "A May that Pays!"

But I'm stuck there. "A June that Ruins?" Terrible. "A July to make you Cry." Not the vibe I'm looking for. And August? Screw August. I'm going to take my vacation in August because nothing rhymes with August, does it?
