Door knocking Face to Face in 2024

There are tons of F2F agents that were supposedly making great money that are no longer in the business so it doesn't just happen with telesales agentd.
100% agree . In general what 5 or 8% of agents make it 2 yrs or more? It’s a tough business that takes tenacity and hard work wether telesales or face to face . But the overall Gross vol of fe telesales is much much higher than face to face sales thus the override potential much greater than having face to face agents for any fmo . Whatever sales profession anyone does success to the person is measured in what did i get to keep before taxes at the end of the yr . I’ve said this 50 times over the last 5 yrs . The fmo overrider gets paid on GROSS vol not net vol after expenses . Thats why many fmo’s would always tell there agents buy 30-50 direct mail leads a week . They didn’t care what you netted it was all about your total vol
 
Oh I’m sure. We’re getting ready to release our Voice AI with artificial voice opt in leads.

Been trying to replicate the direct mail with appointment setter model digitally for a long time.

Finally the technology has caught up.

Works even better for telesales as we can get very inexpensive artificial voice opt in leads that turn into live transfers.

But soon, field agents can decide how many appointments they want to run and as long as they can pay for the leads and AI calls, they’ll be able to have as many appointments per week as they want.

No more dial days :)
So are these Ai generated leads interacting with people who press for more info on social media leads . So the human like Ai interacts with the lead and sets appointments on a calendar . So you can program the Ai to only make appts for the next day ? It will be smart enough to know how to make appts in certain areas geographically for face to face agents ?

Agents joining FEX and being trained properly and having access to the best companies and lead vendors and the support are succeeding and staying in business for years.

I don’t know the numbers. Maybe Scott can elaborate?

My guess is it’s well over 50% and I think I’m guessing low.
 
I had never heard of this business three weeks before I got my first batch of leads. That was over five yrs. ago. I'll never retire. It's a fun job and the money is great. Wish I hadn't spent so many years working for idiots.

Nobody really can accurately say what the true success rate is industry wide . This week I had a ton of service work Monday and Tuesday . By Tuesday night I was board to death . Took a stack of leads Wed- Tuesday and probably knocked 40 doors and presented to 16 people . It’s in my blood to be selling . If I’m alive at 80 every now and then I’ll take a stack of leads and pound some doors . I won’t come home until my knuckles are black and blue . lol . Jd you’ll never walk away from this totally . If need be you’ll be wheelchaired to appts . Lmao

Probably right on the true numbers.

But for me I will definitely be done.

I’ve already slowed down a lot. Even though my total production has not.

I do one 1000 piece mailer a month.

We just closed on a new house so I may be working more than I want to for a bit. Especially until we get our current house sold.

Right now I own and am maintaining two homes.

Our current is technically sold. We put it on the market last Thursday and sold it last Saturday.

But it’s not scheduled to close for a month. So anything can happen.

Normal digital leads, just with the compliant opt in for artificial voice.

Primarily this will be for live transfers for telesales agents.

The agents like the idea of selling in their PJs. So whatever I think about it, it markets well.

But I know what you’re asking about geo targeting appointments.

Currently it would work like our text appt setting. The AI offers first available time slot and 4 hours later.

“Would 10am or 2pm work better for you?”

But I just emailed our Dev about doing what you asked about. Obviously that would be preferred.

Theoretically, it should be possible.

The AI is already checking the calendar for availability. So it should be able to check the other addresses, do some kind of search to see if they are, for example, within 15 minutes of a previously scheduled appointment and offer the 2 closest available time slots.

But that might have to happen after launch.

One thing I know from running FE appts, is you can be late. They notice if you’re early.
