I have a 44 year old insulin-dependent client with hypertension what would be the best company to write him with for a term or whole life policy? Thanks in advance guys

double check when they started taking insulin to make sure they weren't a kid when they started

What Josh said, then get him on the bacon diet, and if he is a type 2 diabetic, in 3 months he will no longer be an insulin dependent hypertensive and you can write him almost anywhere.
 
If he goes FU term he will probably be at least a table 4 depending on how well his condition is controlled. Assurity will issue him a level simplified issue up to $50,000. I am a Type 2 diabetic and I have my A1C down to 5. Type 1 is usually insulin dependent.

With Sr Life it wouldn't matter if they started taking insulin at age 3 or just started taking insulin last month at age 44. Assuming ht/wt is ok, non tob last 10 years, only one med per condition, and nothing else of question then:
44F...10k and 20k AD premium is $17.68
44M...10k and 20k AD premium is $20.06
