Lead Concepts

I can tell you right now, I do not see myself as a door knocker

Just remember that if you call for an appointment and they hang up on you or tell you they are not interested, that is not the lead company's fault. Once a direct mail lead card is your hand, (assuming it is "fresh" an you haven't been scammed into buying a lead that had been filled out months ago and possibly already sold and worked by another agent or agents), the outcome of that lead is entirely on you.

With MP, the mailing list is supposed to be to folks who just closed on a mortgage within the past week or two, so you can always go to your county recorder of deeds and mortgages to cross-check whether the respondents were indeed very recent purchases or refinances.

Yes I've had my share of hang ups and *** offs already lol. I really just want to be as efficient as possible when I buy leads. They're expensive!

If you don't door knock $60 direct mail leads I think you'll be disappointed . That's a lot of bacon for a lead that might never answer the phone (more and more people don't answer the phone ) . If you want to do phone sales you'll need some type of cheaper Facebook type lead . Just my thoughts

Now I really feel old.
When I did these MTG leads it was all night work.
Two days a week I would go down into Manhattan mostly the garment district and I would basically knock on doors.
I was an Equitable agent then and they had a great individual health plan.
It was a per cause deductible but monthly costs were always less than $100...that is correct!
For young healthy people it was great and they would take part of that savings and buy DI.
Times are very different know.

Wow! If someone knocked on my door right now i'd call the cops. Hahaha I much prefer zoom.

Now even NY is very different.
My office was in Long Island but I canvassed in Manhattan
The garment district is a fraction of what it once was.
There is very little manufacturing done, most of those buildings have been converted to condos.
Good Luck!

I actually don't do NY at all! I've been working NJ TX ID. they're much nicer.

I actually don't do NY at all!

You are the fourth or fifth NY domiciled agent I've heard say that he or she doesn't work NY at all.

How the heck are New Yorkers not the most under insured population in the country right now?

Maybe they are?
