Great point. When I say we source our traffic internally, that is exactly what I mean. We run all of the marketing campaigns used to generate leads in house, from start to finish.

Regardless, James emailed me & we have talked so I now know what company he is with & his background. Competitor he once worked for in Ohio was an x-Allstate agent like me...

I came out to California this past April to work for Underground Elephant. I was the VP of Business Development at InsuranceAgents.com and Underground Elephant recruited me to come head up/build out their operations in the Insurance space. Been out here for 6 months now, and I love it. San Diego is definitely not a bad place to be!

I'm in Springboro, which is just North of Kings Island. And yes, it is indeed that Oxford. A wonderful school that started me on my way.

I believe I remember Insuranceagents.com. Many years ago, they provided me with some free leads to use. Was "Lev" or something like that involved in that company?

San Diego is very nice. But don't you miss cold snowy days in January?

Whoa! Springboro is my hometown! I grew up there, lived in McCray Farms right off of 741, across from Main St Deli. So needless to say, I know Springboro, haha. I will actually be back there in 2 weeks for a wedding. Crazy stuff. To add to the craziness, my fiance is a Miami Alumni!

Lev was my boss for a number of years, and was the founder of InsuranceAgents.com, great guy. Very smart, and I learned an awful lot from him. I am very grateful to have gotten to work with and get to know him.

I haven't been out here long enough to truly appreciate the lack of snow or cold weather, but right now, at this specific time of year, I miss Ohio just a bit. Nothing like the beginning of Fall in Ohio.

Me too. I did end up calling him and get this...I used to live next door to him and I'm the person who found their lost dog that had been their family pet for 15 years. I was supposed to get a $50 reward and the bastards never paid. SOB...THIS REALLY BURNS ME UP!

SO YEA...I CALLED THE CREEP IN SAN DIEGO AND LET HIM HAVE IT! Oh sure...it's been 10-15 years ago but I did not forget it.

Anyhow, it wasn't him. It was the other neighbor. So never mind.
