Living Promise - MoO

Since this is a Living Promise thread, $25k, 67F, would be $109.85. I keep getting that screen that asks me to post, so now I posted.

Good example where I like their rates, non-smoking females who qualify for level coverage. I don't even carry their 6 signatures in California application.

I did wrote both grand kids with MoO on their children's whole life. I like it because all they ask for is the kid's name and birthday, no SS#, no address. Premiums are very low, bout $24 a month total for both with their max $30,000 policy. Glad I has that app, only 3 signatures needed on that one. I know they do the E-application too but I've never tried that yet.

It takes effect NOW and is required in all states except CA and MA. For any application submitted on or after 9/17 without it, there will automatically be an amendment generated - had about 10 of them today already with my agents on jet issue policies. After 10/31 it will be required to come in with the app, but until then it can be done post-issue. It's form DMF 2014 if you want to search for it on ANI. And there was no email about it, just a bombshell dropped on all their agents without warning..

Geez....i saw newbys post and thought, well, that will come out in about a month...then I got an email from imo, yes its required like yesterday, and all pending apps get an amendment. ... is there any other fe company that is worse at fe, I'd like to know!!!

They don't even email the agents directly, and they think this market is going to figure out that form and find a stamp???

Gas up boys....or just print a bunch, fill them out and mail them to the clients with a pre stamped and addressed envelope and then go to church and pray.

Aaaaarggghhhh

Feel better now. ..a little....

I can think of a few that are worse than Mon/Trans. Evey company has an active business prevention dept. Some are just far more active than others.

I wrote $25,000 face today for a 67-year old at $111.00 a month, perfect health except for being on the heavy side. I just used all the same Monumental forms as usual, 3 signatures.

Thanks goes to Lead Connections and the E-179 card, got the e-mail today, printed it, drove 15 minutes, $1332 AP, solid citizen type, retired from teaching.

Nice sale Richard. You are one of the few people to post a real picture of yourself as your avatar.

I used to get peeved when I would get an email stating as of x and x was the previous week and the email was the first notification.

"Living Promise", the FE plan from Mutual of Omaha is now available here in California.

Looking at the application it appears the client will have to sign 5 or 6 times.

Application asks Drivers License information and how long I've known the client. I know these are common questions in the standard market but isn't it a little much for FE?

Most of my answers will be:
Drivers License? Nope.
How long known? 45 minutes.

I'm sure the answers to those questions won't matter much but getting 5 or 6 signatures seems a little excessive for a simplified issue product.

Their rates look decent for Female Non-Tobacco users but that's about it.

Any one here writing much Living Promise? I like their name recognition but can't get too excited about the product yet.

If you're proposed insured has no license, they'll want to know why before they'll issue.

Yes but they don't pull an MVR so it's OK if they don't have one - I've had plenty of them issue without an active driver's license - but like you said best to make a note on the app as to why.
