lost a client to an in house Devoted agent

Somehow one of my clients ended up on the phone with a Devoted agent. She asked the agent to send her information. Instead, he signed her up and sent a card. Has anyone successfully reversed this? She changed during oep, so I don't have an election period to use, but I'd like to call devoted with her and maybe file a complaint. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.
 
Yes, if you're sure it was completed through Devoted's telesales, you should call them to fix them because you are supposed to remain the AOR.

Not if she wasn't already on a Devoted plan with Keith as the writing agent.

Keith, was she already on a Devoted plan that you wrote?
 
I wrote one in oct 11/01 effective date, they switched him in house to another plan

He was unawar he spoek to someone but did not think he made a change
I got signed letter did not matter

I explained should not be able to switch him with 12/01 effective
did not matter

I did a 01/01 new plan, and got the client
but lost the new to Medicare pay

I do not write them anymore
 
This client was not a Devoted customer to begin with. I wonder if I could call customer service with my client and explain the situation, and try to get her off of Devoted. Maybe form a complaint against the agent that signed her up.
 
So, you're saying the Devoted agent enrolled your client without her authorization. If so, you need to get on the phone with your client and Medicare. They will file a grievance on the rep and enroll her back into her original plan before the change, as long as the plan is still available.
 
while this is obviously a shitty situation why is your client calling an insurer with questions and not you?

I found out Devoted Calls clients to confirm they want to enroll in the plan
and go over things

thats how all this happened,

I never had this issue with carriers I write tons more buis wilt such as UHC Humana Aetna BC various ones
