My book of United Health clients in North Carolina are seeing around a 15% rate increase. Is this about average from what you're experiencing with your clients through other carriers or United?

Just wanted to get a feel for what the market is yielding these days.

Your clients are lucky. The increase would have certainly been double digit without ObamaCare to the rescue.

What I'm saying is that Obama promised that his plan would keep rate increases down - clearly that was bullshit.

Are you telling me that government control vs that free market is better? I know you LOVED that GI program in MD where you could make $100. How's that program working? I'm sure it's not in the red.

What are you telling your former clients when they call you about rate increases or questions about coverage? Since you can't service them, do you just blow them off?

MHIP operates in the black but the last report I could access was two years ago.

It was just your contention that without any government involvement, carrier's rate increases would not be double digits - basically, left on their own they'd hold it down to single digits.

I never said that. Obama promised rates would drop 3,000%. Didn't exactly happen. So please find where I wrote rates wouldn't increase without ObamaCrap.

Only one of us has been backing a socialist program and it's not me.
