Seeking Advice on becoming an Independent Agent

Hello everyone, I'm in Florida at a call center looking to go independent in Feb 2022, my object is to net 10k+ monthly on MAPD + FE. So if anyone knows at least 3 IMO's that I could work with that would allow me freedom & flexibility to use my choice of lead source and Day 1 vesting?

I would personally avoid the FE IMO's that also offer Medicare contracts. They just don't know what they're doing. I'd say to put your FE contracts with an agency that specializes with FE, and your Medicare contracts with an agency that specializes with Medicare.

For FE I would contact:
- Final Expense Services
- FEX Contracting
- Duford Insurance Group

For Medicare I would contact:
- Neishloss and Fleming
- Ritter Insurance Marketing
- Premier Senior Marketing

All of those agencies have great training and will treat you fairly and honestly.

I am located in florida, and offer you any Medicare contracts (including the local ones that the big guys cant offer), and FE contracts. PM if you want to talk.

I dont mmicro manage, but if you needs local advice, and/or hands on training, I can offer that too

Ritter is not someone I'd use personally. They aren't great with the agent contact after the sale, in my experience.

Otherwise I agree, you want the right IMO for Medicare, not an FE place that sells Medicare.

New Horizon and Todd King are decent.

100% agree . I'd never mix medicare contracts with an fe agency . Medicare fmo's who eat, drink and breath medicare are invaluable . Today I got a call from 2 clients who didn't get their United mapd cards yet . Try calling customer service with United . 80% of their reps speak terrible English and they don't understand much .I sent the info to my fmo rep and it's done in 20 mins . Humama vantage hands down has the best agent portal . You can order most cards and many other things online .

LOL! This is so untrue! We do both FE and Medicare. Would you like to call me some time and pick my brain on both subjects? We work in the entirety of the senior market, not just one segment of it. We know the markets well. Been working the whole market for over 20 years now.

Maybe I misspoke, but I didn't mean to lump you in with the FE agencies that have added Medicare but don't understand the market. In my mind, TR King Insurance Marketing comes highly recommended.
