Seeking new head set that's dialing friendly

The CT12 is the one though that may wipe your wireless internet off the face of the planet everytime you have an active call. It's a great headset, I highly recommend it, but not if you have a wireless network that you rely on, and are more than a few feet from the base station.

If they have fixed this, I'd love to know, I'll gladly buy the current model and retire the one I have.

Thank you everyone for your input. I greatly appreciate it. I do operate on a wireless p.c. so the C12 may not be my best option from what you've all suggested.

I appreciate the feedback. I hope to find a phone/headset working with a landline that is compatible and will not interfere with wireless p.c.

Thanks again. If I find such, I'll post it.

Yea when I am on my headset it kicks the kids off xbox live sometimes..or most of the time...use to effect my wifes feed to her computer (wireless feed from my modem) but I called the cable company and they can rest the frequency were the phone does not do this.....

So are you suggesting there is a way around this? I have DSL and AT&T What do you suggest I do, if anything, before buying this or do I have to buy it and see what happens... assuming I buy?

Hi. I did a search and maybe I didn't play with key words enough but I'm wondering what tool or tools do you use to prospect on the phone besides your cell or land line?

My cordless dies on me too fast; I find I have to keep charging my cell phone at least 3 to 4 X a day and stay glued near the wall and it's annoying... I walk a lot when I talk; type, do various things, file you know cook, laundry, whatever.. multi-tasker here. I cannot stand stay stationary so I'm seeking a new phone that has a hard long term battery life and can work well with me wherever I go in this house or outside if needs be that won't crumble on me you know ... the static and have clarity if possible. Would also be neat if speaker phone can come with such a device b/c those headsets can be very tiring to the ear and make it hurt.

I have heard the Platronics set is good. I am posting 2 links below.

Wondering what you all use if you use anything high tech and what good experiences you have had and what to avoid, if to avoid? Can you please recommend a good phone system?

I would considerably appreciate your input.

Thank you very much in advance for your posts!

Plantronics is the "creme of the crop" for telemarketing or personal use based on experience and other telepros.

You will sound like a demi-God who projects to prospect with bold/authoritive speech who is in control.

In simple words, you won't sound like a wimp cheescake weak scrub( cheap headsets) who is begging for business and wondering why I'm not closing more deals than capable.

Go Plantronics!

So, what is the solution for those us use that rely on wireless internet? What did you end up doing?

try a $99. massage thing for your chair so you can stay at your desk. If you have to roam take off the headset and relax.

The Plantronics CS-55 is a wonderful, made to be used all day, wireless headset system. You need to use this in conjunction with a regular phone, so you can dial, but if you get the headset lifter, I think you'll find it a great overall headset.

I wear it all day, it is comfortable enough to do that. I can hear the callers, they can hear me. Sound quality is excellent, it has about a 300 ft range from the phone (and it actually comes close to this), and with the handset lifter, I can answer calls whereever I'm at in the office building.

It's not cheap, but then, it's a business tool, not really an expense, but an investment into the many, many hours you spend on the phone.
