Seeking new head set that's dialing friendly

I recently bought an AT&T deskphone-answering machine ($99) Model # EP5632that is bluetooth compatible. It allows me to use my bluetooth earpiece from my cellphone. I use the wireless earpiece every night when I make cold calls. Works great. When I used the wired headsets, they ruined my phone or they would not make good connections after a while because I would take it out after I was done cold calling.

Occasioanlly screws with the wireless, until I change the channel. For some reason I didn't expect the keypad to be palm-sized. Thanks to all who recommeded this product!

I put together a system just this week that I find quite helpful. It is a Plantronics 925 Discovery headset (Bluetooth) that I have paired with my cell phone and a Plantronics USB Bluetooth adapter that is also paired and plugged into my computer. I use Toktumi VOip, so I am wireless in my office as well as wireless on the go with a minimum of equipment. I want to point out that this setup is compatible with their softphone. For more info, PM me.

I use a Plantronics Voyager pro which is supposed to be one of the best on the market. The Jawbone is also highly rated.

Yes, I considered both these, but I designed this setup for investment and pieces to keep track of. You can't beat the quality of Plantronics.

Voyager pro was on sale the other day for $40 with free 2 day shipping!

i use the plantronic 510 sl, which I have hooked up to my office line (with lift set) and bluetooth for my cell. I can answer my cell or my office phone with it. I do get some complaints on voice quality, so I need to play with it to get it working correctly.

Yeah, I acually got it for $89 last year and couldn't justify it for the money after reading reviews for the voyager 510 (which has also turned out to be pretty good in my opinion even though I haven't used it for too long). I ended up getting the 510 off amazon for $43 or so and then looked a week later and saw the verizon deal for the pro at $40. Oh well. I should have gotten it and sold my old one on ebay for $30.

I hope you guys don't blast past the info about the bluetooth USB adapter.... this is a separate device from the bluetooth headset, and not listed as being tested as compatible. I am reporting that they are compatible, just not advertised as such. In addition, not all VOiP softphones will work with just any bluetooth headset. Toktumi has just blown me away with their features and prices, AND clarity.

Now I am cordless on my office phone as well as my cellphone. It is not an easy feat to accomplish... not all bluetooth devices can be paired, including those from the same manufacturer. In this case my cell phone has multipoint pairing, which is necessary to pair to more than one device.
