had a nice lady that wanted coverage.. trinity was $10.,00 less a month than aetna,,,
but.. when I asked her to review the security questions before the 3 way call..
her reply to.... do you need to receive an organ transplant....?
she said.." that is a very good question.. I will need to look at medical text books etc to see if I need one.. I dont think I need one..
when i went to another question.. more awful answers..
so I approved her with aetna..
this begs the question..
what percentage of policies get replaced from a door knock? I'm thinking less than 1%? I know a door knock can easily replace this.. but doubt someone will knock on her door? As far as call centers calling her... god bless them if they can get her to pass a phone interview.. . I had no patience or desire to move forward ..

37.23%

Do you prep them for med questions?

I don't do FE but with med supp I go over the med questions and go over the call they will receive from underwriting

Yea once in a while someone shocks me with weird answers but not often

It should be pretty straight forward when you are writing an app. At this point you should have decent rapport and a list of their prescription meds..You should make sure your prospect understands that you are going to need a clear yes or no at the end of each question. If they fail to respond with a "yes" or a "no" then just tell them politely something like ,for the recording or due to state law I can only accept a "yes" or "no" let me re read the question.

if they are generally confused with a specific date like "well I had cancer and it was 10 or 6 years ago they removed my prostate nothing since No oral medication for cancer " Then just let them know you understand they had cancer previously, this questions is asking in the pas *XYZ* years - So again, let me re read this Question and I just need a yes or no... In the past 3 years have you ever been diagnosed with... then just read the question.

If they can't answer No to having been advised to have or or have had an organ transplant than you have someone who is not serious or there may be more to the story.

I find telesales wether mapd or fe the easiest to replace . Low income people are craving for face to face . On that note I'd say 75% of low income mapd bought on the phone or theyvcall the 1-800# Joe Namath . I only run into maybe 15% of fe that bought on the phone . The easiest fe from telesales to replace hands down is am am ( call center am am thru the ramiz's of the world 20% higher premium ) and SL . Great majority of fe still sold face to face .
