Starting Out in FE

Know leads know profit.

AMEN!!!!!!! This is probably the simplest, yet most effective kernel of knowledge/wisdom I've seen on this forum :)

Thank you sir, much appreciated.

Very welcome. We all hit slumps or have bad days/weeks occasionally......& sometimes it is the little things that jump out and grabs us. "Know leads know profit" is one of those things.......that's a very powerful statement, sir.

This is the one I said to myself that finally hit me hard: No leads, No profit:yes:

Trying to save up some money before I go full time. Still a newby per say (only a few sales). Want to make sure I have a reserve for the slow/bad weeks.

Well, everybody has always said that John was just a simple man.. or was that simple minded..I never can keep things straight.. :D

I started part time writing anywhere from $1000 to $2000 week. Im in my 7th month, quasi full time, last week I wrote $5000, this week so far $3500. With that being said, if you have the tenacity to learn and stick with it you can do it. Be willing to learn and listen even if you THINK you got it, you don't. Get with a good group of top agents and listen to what they say and do, copy, rinse and repeat, keep it simple. Oh yea, buy leads, lots and lots of leads as often as you can, no leads no profit. Know leads know profit.

On average, how many leads do you buy weekly...are they Direct Mail or Telemarketed leads or a mixture of both?
