That's just for comparing at one time . You can change the pharmacy's up.

(Caveat, not an agent)

Thanks for the response.

I was doing some checking, specifically on the Cigna and SilverScript WebSites. The screens on each site had something about connecture down in the lower right so I thought I was probably using somebody's version of connecture.

On one of those I wanted to put in Pharmacies I was interested in, plus a Pharmacy someone else uses, plus a Pharmacy that kgmom said should be included. I was surprised to be stopped at three. I didn't know if I had done something wrong, if I was dealing with a "modified" connecture or a "real' connecture.

I was surprised because Medicare.gov went to five pharmacies one or two years ago and that works very nicely. You can see Kroger, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens (or whatever big chains you want to substitute for those) plus one local pharmacy or mail order all in one pass. With all the ballyhoo, I just presumed Connecture would equal that functionality.

Connecture has a Blue Button and you can transport the meds from their MyMedicare account.

It's hard to tell, but sometimes from the conversations here it doesn't seem like many folks have a MyMedicare account.

I'd be interested to hear in a couple of months what you are finding about that after you've worked with PDP enrollments for awhile.

(And by the way, I hope that goes well for you this year.)

I don't verify doctors for O65. I rarely write MAPD anyway, but when I have to (especially U65 Medicare), I have them call their doctors, ask what Advantage plans they take and get both HMO/PPO answers. This accomplishes many things: when the directories are wrong (And they are. And its nobody's fault.), I don't get yelled at. When the doc gives wrong info, I don't get yelled at. And when the doc says "I take XYZ this year, but I am not going to next year", we are ahead of it.
How can it be "nobody's" fault? If it is wrong, someone fell down on the job of fact checking or updating. :frown:

Doctors move. Doctors retire. Doctors Die. And never tell the carriers.

My mother broke her neck almost 2 years ago. We had to follow up with the surgeon. Checked google and 2 carrier sites for the address. They had moved 3 years prior and gone independent. Nothing was right. Insurance info or address. (Mom obviously has a Med Supp because I'm not stupid, so it didn't matter) But guess who had a little chat with the office manager about getting her shit together?

I'm not very proficient with it yet, but it seems to do it all, including an electronic SOA.

Email or text soa . The company eapps on Connecture 1/2 the time to fill out compared to company Eapps . Signature on Eapps done by email or text . WellCare requires no sig from the client on the E-App . Very proficient . Everything for all carriers at one place . Now that they added the drs on the platform it's DYNOMITE !!! ( thanks JJ walker for that one )

Keep us posted. I'll give it a look at some point. Like @kgmom219, I'm now entering everything on Medicare.gov, saving it as a pdf and emailing it to my clients. Just a PITA to have to enter everything once again.

From that standpoint - this is light years better.

You simply assign a code to each client, have that in your CRM, then when you want to play around with their Rx's and recommendations, etc., you plug in that list ID into search & save and it brings up their list, along with zip and county (similar to how Medicare dot gov used to work where we saved List ID's and Dates).

Helpful for the client with 17 meds (yes, seriously) that I did yesterday -- talked with her and just asked if I needed to add anything new or take anything off the list.

What I'm unsure of will be the estimate accuracy -- that is where the rubber meets the road. I plan to cross-reference several. I've had it for about 2 months now and when I ran comparisons for my T65s it did OK. Biggest thing I don't like it it shows yearly, not rest-of-year. But accuracy seemed OK. Some meds show up slightly different... takes a bit to get used to... but not bad.

How dare a professional like a doctor die and not notify his HMO?PPOs? That is just so inconsiderate!:twitchy:

it doesn't seem like many folks have a MyMedicare account.

Quite a few (most?) of my clients have a MyMedicare account. Very few have or use the Medicare Blue Button.

A recent report indicated "over 1 million" Medicare beneficiaries use the Blue Button.

That's less than 2% of Medicare beneficiaries. Blue Button has been around for 10 years or so. The participation level is underwhelming.
