Thoughts on WinFlex?

Great response Marpol, very helpful!

Insuranceexe: What do you mean by " I personally pay for the program that gives my agents access to all of the companies, and also opens up several additional programs."

Is there an option in WinFlex Web that allows you pay to see those carriers you don't do business w/? Or were you talking about another company?

There is no cost to winflex web....it is payed for by the carriers. Because the carriers have to sign up and pay not alll carriers are on winflexweb although most big ones are (I include the list below). Also you can get access to carriers that you are not yet appointed with......the issue is weather your BGA has an appointment with those carriers. So if your IMO or BGA or whatever does not have a Hartford contract then they can not give you access to Hartford on Winflexweb.

Dude123: what exactly are you trying to figure out? what software to use to run your quotes? or what are you trying to do.....we may be able to give you some better direction then just listing the fetures and benefits of winflex....not that I dont enjoy it :)

  • Allianz
  • American National
  • Aviva Life and Annuity

Winflex is well made and reliable. It's not the only alternative but one of the top ones.

There is no quoting software that quotes ALL the insurance companies. At best, any that I've seen to date quotes the products of only a fraction of the carriers.

Disclosure: I am the designer of software which is one of the competitors among quotation software systems. Winflex is produced by one of our competitors.

Dear Winflex experts,

I am a non-insurance guy trying to research the use of technology within the insurance business. I came across Winflex and am trying to understand what exactly the product does? why life insurance companies need it? and is it a must have or a there are plenty of similar products? Another product I am interested in is Lifespeed.

Would appreciate any 101 on these products that experts would care to share?

Many Many Thanks

thank you very much. would you mind if i gave you a call to understand what exactly they do, how they help etc?

Dear Mr. Doyle -- thank you for your offer. Could you please send me your contact information by private message, so I can call you.

Many Thanks

Instead of waiting another month, call me tomorrow and I'll tell you all about it. I use WinFlex and Compulife pretty regularly. Number's in my signature.
