What are the best source for health leads?

I am trying to generate some business for selling health insurance. Telemarketing or buying leads.. I was thinking of trying healthleadsdirect.com or accudata.com Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks

  • Centers of influence
  • Referrals
  • Direct Mail
  • Walking and Talking (visiting businesses in person)
  • Internet leads
  • Renting booths at small business events
Each one requires some knowledge and skill to do well. Be prepared to invest time and/or money before you develop a system that works.

I built my business on internet leads the first two years (2004 and 2005). However, during the past several years, more and more companies have jumped into the lead business, and it is not uncommon for a consumer to visit two or more lead sites and get bombarded with calls from 5-15 different brokers. People are getting upset, as they are not prepared for this, thus I have taken the approach of only purchasing internet leads for the communites immediately surrounding my home base.

In my opinion, a solid marketing plan includes internet promotion and lead purchasing, networking (joining groups such as BNI and LeTip), setting up private networking among non-conflictive financial professionals, joining internet based associations, etc. In other words, diversify your marketing efforts and test many different avenues of getting your name out there in a very competitive industry.

In Florida they sell pure garbage.

They are the same in virtually every other state as well because like most lead companies they have an out of control affiliate program.

Garbage in = Garbage out.
