Wifi Tether

I dont like the fact that put all those apps on your phone that you cant delete...Like Blockbuster..app

Rooting depends on your phone. I've had three phones and each of them had to be rooted differently.

If you root your phone, you do run the slight risk of having it "bricked" or otherwise killing it.

Once it's rooted you can delete all the apps you want, but some apps are more important than you think and you can really mess your phone up.

What model phone do you have?

I'm not sure I want to root it..But I want to tether it, if I can do it.

It's already against the law.

It's a violation of the DMCA.

In most cases with phones, gaming consoles, etc, if you read the terms and conditions you don't even own them, its like you're permanently leasing the hardware. Unintended use that bypasses protection is typically DMCA violation in some way.

Even video games and dvds have pages of terms and conditions now that say you don't own them and they can request them back at any time and if you refuse its a DMCA violation.

Screwed up legal system we've allowed the huge media companies to create around us by buying the politicians.

I believe that is the one I used. So simple a Wino can do it.

Actually, courts have ruled that rooting / jailbreaking phones is perfectly legal. One of those rare momemts of lucid behaviour.
