AHIP 2020 Here is what I had to do

Hi Bill,

New here and having the same problem only I am totally new to this so the 2020 test is a real PITA for me, took it twice and failed both times.

I found the same thing, the final Certification test has questions in it that are not included in any of the module quizzes or just not covered in the training material.

I am on my 3rd attempt and need to make sure I pass it this next try, so from what I am understanding here is that there are basically 500 questions in the overall pool? (take final test 10 times at 50 questions each covers all the test questions)

Assuming that is correct, I can go into my final attempt, the questions load up, and at that point I can logout of the website before I submit the test and I will not be counted for it? I can then go back in and do this until I get all the questions to review?

Sorry if I made this long winded, just want to make sure I got the entire jist of this!

I have heard people say that this test is easy because it's open book, but open book isn't always easy, especially when you can't search the modules because they made them images. I'm glad I'm not the only one who had to take this test twice!

I agree. Open book, on a test where you only have an estimated 2 minutes for each question, also isn't much help. They don't enable quick search on the PDF slides, so you have to manually search for each question. So, what good is open book? You won't have enough time to do a search. Also, I noticed a good bit of questions where the answers weren't to be found anywhere....not in the book, not online, not anywhere. This test was extremely underhanded and slimy.

I took AHIP for the 1st time. In the past, I've only taken AARP. I got 100 the first time without studying. Go through the questions that you know which a lot are common sense then go back to the tough questions. A lot of the answers are on google search rather than search on the slides that take more time. That's what worked for me. Also when they mention the words "Only or Always" usually it's not the answer.

I finally got a 98 and my third attempt about 12 days ago . I also went into the test several times I didn't put them in alphabetical order but it worked.

That's a good tip to go into the test several times, I thought of that after hit me the previous post. As long as you don't run out of time or hit submit it doesn't count. I also thought that when I tapped on the quizzes that were already completed when it said passed I couldn't take it again, but you just need to tap on it twice and it will allow you to think it over and over.

I just scored an 88 on my second try. Where did you find the answers once you had the questions?

Chazm is a jackass and only makes smart ass comments. Ignore any help he offers. Likely will be leading you in the wrong direction

I agree. So much BS with AHIP and MAPD renewals. I think they just started a new scam that is thru an association charging 450.00 to get thru all the red tape.

Im surprised theres not a lawsuit against these organizations clamoring for agents money each years.

AHIP $175/125 x 1,000,000 agents

175 million dollars profit off foot soldiers

Total bullsh*t

I would agree with you, but you don't need to intentionally answer one wrong. You can get 100% on the quizzes over and over again, but the final exam has questions that are not included in the quizzes. I suggest opening the final exam and taking the test and then print it and log out before submitting and do this several times ( I did it ten times) so you get all of the possible questions. Then study the materials for the questions that you are not sure of the answer. Some are quite tricky. Then I cut the questions apart and put them in alphabet order and took the test and could quickly check my answers if I wasn't sure. Scored 100%

So if u log out And not submit it doesnt count as a try? Wow, thats news to me. I thot once the clock started u were going to get hit with 1x gone.
