AHIP 2020 Here is what I had to do

I finally got a 98 and my third attempt about 12 days ago . I also went into the test several times I didn't put them in alphabetical order but it worked.

That's a good tip to go into the test several times, I thought of that after hit me the previous post. As long as you don't run out of time or hit submit it doesn't count. I also thought that when I tapped on the quizzes that were already completed when it said passed I couldn't take it again, but you just need to tap on it twice and it will allow you to think it over and over.

Thanks for keeping us hanging and congrats.

I would agree with you, but you don't need to intentionally answer one wrong. You can get 100% on the quizzes over and over again, but the final exam has questions that are not included in the quizzes. I suggest opening the final exam and taking the test and then print it and log out before submitting and do this several times ( I did it ten times) so you get all of the possible questions. Then study the materials for the questions that you are not sure of the answer. Some are quite tricky. Then I cut the questions apart and put them in alphabet order and took the test and could quickly check my answers if I wasn't sure. Scored 100%

Hi Bill,

New here and having the same problem only I am totally new to this so the 2020 test is a real PITA for me, took it twice and failed both times.

I found the same thing, the final Certification test has questions in it that are not included in any of the module quizzes or just not covered in the training material.

I am on my 3rd attempt and need to make sure I pass it this next try, so from what I am understanding here is that there are basically 500 questions in the overall pool? (take final test 10 times at 50 questions each covers all the test questions)

Assuming that is correct, I can go into my final attempt, the questions load up, and at that point I can logout of the website before I submit the test and I will not be counted for it? I can then go back in and do this until I get all the questions to review?

Sorry if I made this long winded, just want to make sure I got the entire jist of this!

Bruce, I think there are only about 250 questions because many are used over and over again with a few new ones showing up with each attempt. I likely over did it, but it helped to study for those new questions. Everyone says it is an open book test, but with 50 questions in 2 hours you only have 2.4 minutes per question so you need to know most of them with out used study materials to refer to. This worked for me. Just remember to print the test and log out before the time runs out. This was my first year doing to AHIP. I think it will get easier each year. Good luck to you!! Hope you pass and best wishes to you selling insurance in your market.

Thanks Bill.

I successfully went to the Certification test again, without submitting it nor timing out saved the test to a MS Word document (did this 12 times, so over 600 questions). I am in the process of deleting the duplicate questions and form where I am now, I would say that there probably 250-300 distinctly different questions in the pool that the test pulls from.

I plan to study each question to assure that I know the answers so I can get throughthe next test attempt.

Will let you know the results!

I've taken this test for over 10 years now and I try to print out the questions on the final exam because they show up the following year and the year after that. But yes. Keep taking the quizzes a few times and you should be just fine. There's also a module exam at the end too. Print those off with the correct answers. Take those several times and print them out.. It's time consuming but usually most of the same questions will be on there at the final exam. Better than failing it over and over might as well take additional time to repeat the module exams over and over even it you know by heart because a new question pops up on there which might show up on the final.
