AHIP 2020 Here is what I had to do

I wish they would make AHIP tougher. Better yet, make it a proctored test. That would sure weed out the riff raff.

That would be terrible.

Delete your post.

Don't give anyone who runs the AHIP any ideas in case they watch this forum.

Meh..

There's always this idea of making the industry more regulated will get rid of "riff Raff" or reduce them. That's hogwash.

It might reduce the total number of agents, but it won't reduce the percentage of garbage within the industry.

Here's my thing, do you and don't worry what other people do.

UHC has the right idea - phuck AHIP

Completely agree. I've already started shying away from writing companies that still insist on my entire business being in the hands of one immoral and slimy test. If a passing grade was at least a reasonable 80%, then I wouldn't be inclined to complain much. 90% just adds too much stress to an already immensely stressful test. There is barely any room to be a human and make an error. It's a joke. On clients where UHC (doesn't require AHIP) and Humana/Aetna (DO require AHIP) are all in play as being viable companies to go with, guess who I recommend? Humana and Aetna would be wise to ditch AHIP in the future, as I know most agents are beyond sick of this red tape nonsense.

I would like to see how much money AHIP makes on the the backs of agents each year from this test @ 125.00/175.00 a person.
