Average Number of APPROVED Apps Per Month

I have close to 100% acceptance rate on submissions, but then, I do P&C, not to much health. You pretty much do the underwriting yourself, staying within company guidelines.

In P&C, more important then new apps per month, or approved apps, is retention. My retention ratios took a bit of a hit this year, but have actually been improving lately.

New app volume is about 1/2 of what it was at it's peak.

Yes Lyn...as the others indicated...rates are very low here.

For example...Family of three in Columbus area (Male 40 Female 40 and child) pays under $300 per month for UHC Copay Select ($2500 Ded.)

You ever try to market to gov't employees for individual plans? (or is that a no-no?) I worked for DFAS in Columbus and paid $400 per month for group health for just my spouse and myself. I would think they would be happy to hear from someone as our group plans increase every year and the choice of carriers gets smaller. Ded is lower, but benefits aren't great. Just wondering....

Wow, our rates here in SC are much higher:

In the 29572 zip code, same plan, 2500 ded 80/20 with rx buy up is $524.60, and that is preferred 1 w/prior coverage non tobacco.
