This language appears in the PFFS plans for 2008. Anyone have anything they'd like to share about it? Would this be similar to the limiting charge for doctors who don't accept assignment?

Some carriers allow this as part of their deeming "agreement". The provider can only balance bill IF they don't take Medicare assignment. And then only up to the Medicare limit.
