COPD level

"Oxygen?.. If not SNL Security Care Plan Special... $64.78 .. 10K immediate benefit.."

If I am reading this right his stints will make it limited? which I can make work. I am replacing 2 graded policies less than 3 months old. Double the face amount and less payment and partial coverage during the first 3 years. PLus I am already set up with SNL

thanks for the info

The transplant is a knockout.

How has your COPD been lately, monkey?
Well, I hope Monkey's is doing better than mine. I am in the hospital ER. Have having trouble breathing for a couple of days. Went to the clinic and when she saw my oxygen level was below 75%, she said you are beyond anything I can do for you and sent me to the hospital. :arghh:

The transplant is a different guy. The guy I first started the thread about is as stated. COPD, no oxygen and a stint 3 and a half years ago. Everything else is good. I have maxed out at KSKJ and only need another 10K.

Come to the bacon side, Louis ... 30 days of meat and water and you might find that O2 level significantly improved. I can guarantee that 30 days of meat and water only will not hurt you at all, and will do far more good than you will believe as you read this. The only medicine more powerful is a water only fast like Jesus used to do.

You can try Banker's Fidelity. They are supposedly okay with transplants and stents over 2 years. You can also try GWIC if the meds have not changed in 2 years.

Would pork sausage work as well as bacon?

That would depend upon what has been added to the sausage - spices and salt are ok, but any non-meat fillers would be a no-no. If you are not a bacon fan, I'd recommend rib eye and chuck roast from beef, and chicken legs and thighs skin-on.

My dad has been nearly 100% meat, fish, eggs, and bacon since August. He has improved in every way: physically, cognitively, and his breathing. He has a lung disease that has essentially killed off his one lung - so he is down to one partially functioning lung. His lung disease is caused by an autoimmune disorder, not smoking. But his breathing is definitely much better. He is taking a daily walk now up and down his street, where as before he changed up his diet, he could barely make it up or down the stairs without being out of breath.

He also drinks a lot of whole, full fat milk. I can't because the lactose spikes my blood sugar. But if you are not diabetic, whole milk seems to be a positive as well. I know that paleo/keto internet nuts will not like to hear that - but he drinks milk and thrives. I would stay away from any reduced fat milks, however.

From what I have read about diets to improve breathing are high in Omega 3 and antioxidents... that would include fish, eggs, nuts, dried beans, dark green veiies, (spinach, collards, turnip greens).. I love bacon but sausage is easier to cook .. .

Drop the nuts, beans, and veggies. Meat and water for 30 days, and then slowly add in other foods starting with non-starchy, leafy green veggies (spinach, collards, turnip greens, cabbage, brussel sprouts).

From everything I have read, beef and wild caught fish provide the best results. Bacon is just so darn tasty though!

Here is the easiest way to cook bacon:

1) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F

2) Cover a large tray with aluminum foil for easy clean up.

3) Fold each strip of bacon in half, and place as a single layer on the baking sheet.

4) Bake for approximately 45 minutes - No need to turn it or anything

5) Take it out of the oven, transfer the bacon to a paper plate covered with a couple of paper towels, then cover bacon with paper towels to remove excess grease.

6) Enjoy the bacon, throw out the paper plate and paper towels and aluminum foil. The pan should be clean, but if some grease got to it it should be an easy quick clean up with soap and water and no scrubbing.

Easy, easy, easy ...

And if you want something real tasty, cook two strips of bacon per burger ysing the above method. After the bacon is done, use ground chuck (70/30 preferred - the fattier the better), and make burgers. Place the burgers on the bacon grease filled foil line tray, and cook in the oven, turning once or twice, and basting with that bacon grease periodically. When almost done to your liking, take a thick put a thick slice of cheddar on each burger, two bacon strips on top of the cheese, and top with one more slice of cheddar.

Yum!

You can thank me later
