Door Knocking on Sunday

Fat chance of that. My wife goes to church 4-times a week. She is practically a nun (yay for me!) But some schmuck knocking on our door on a Sunday wouldn't offend her or me. The few azz wipes that would be a jerk about that would find something to be a jerk about on Monday too.
It is not just case of if a person goes to church or is religious. A lot of folks look at Sunday as a day of relaxation and get upset if somebody disturbs. We have the attitude that you yave 6 days to call on us....The 7the is ours for whatever reason,.

Here's the deal. I don't need to work Sundays so I don't. But the question was do we think it's a waste of time that he does?

My opinion is no it isn't. Could turn out to be the best day of the week. All the stores used to be closed on Sunday too. Now they aren't.

Some people see door knockers as a very convenient way of buying something they need. Cable TV sells that way. Edward Jones investments sell that way. And FE can sell that way. For many people Sunday is a convenient day to get this done. Others might be offended that you rang their door bell when they were watching the game, or mowing the grass or taking a nap. Guess what? That happens on Mondays too.

Some people get offended when you call them at all after they sent the lead card in. They just wanted you to mail them something. Does that mean we should quit calling our leads and just mail them stuff?

My prediction is that if we all went out door knocking on Sundays we would probably get a lot of cities making new laws against it. (The atheists would probably fight it and win though.) but if one agent gets out there and door knocks on Sundays, I bet it would turn out to be a good day for him.

Either way, if you need to do it, go do it. Let us know the results after a few weeks.

I forgot to add...Successful people do what others aren't willing to do.

Just drive around and look for people doing yard work. Jump out and just introduce and ask for the appointment. I know a guy who did this on evenings and weekends and made plenty of sales.

I door knock on Sunday. A few people will be pricks, and I would suggest to be more willing to set an engagement for the following day, but for the most part it is the same as any other day of the workweek. You should find a lot more people are at home.
