I'm working on an annoying classic car quote & the carrier (American Modern) doesn't allow operators <25 years old. In fact it appears they make you exclude them & it's the guy's daughter.

Let's say she's a passenger in the car & there's an accident. Would she be excluded from medical/uim/um because she's excluded OR is the exclusion only for physical damage.?

Normally, she would be excluded from coverage only if she is the driver, not excluded as a passenger.

If she is the driver, since she is excluded, no coverage would typically apply. If she was driving and got into an accident, the car would not get fixed, what she hit would not get fixed and medical bills would not get paid, by the insurance company.

You might be able to add the daughter back in, but it would be an additional premium. Might be cost prohibitive, even if you can find a carrier to take her.

Do they have another personal auto policy with her included?

Wouldnt that extend liability coverage to her driving it (if she took it for a spin, although i think every father would not let ANY one touch their classic car lol)

In most states, liability won't extend to another owned car unless the car is listed on the policy. If it did, you would never need to add a liability only car to your policy.

Now, if the daughter doesn't live in the household and has her own policy, then her policy might extend, but if she lives in the house, probably not.
