Final Expense for Age 92

Oh I've already stated to move on from this one.

I know :) Its just crazy how many ways this person wasn't a prospect in the first place. At least the OP knows now.

If we had a contest to design a client we couldn't place, this would pretty much be it.

Ha, I can top that. I had a prospect who was (according to his lead card) 102 the other week. When I got to his house, the first thing he said was "I don't want any damn insurance, I've got cancer". He was slowly, by hand, tearing apart his house that was wrecked by a tornado. Those million dollar leads I got from 360!:D

You mean the ones Mungia wrote $7k off of?

So are you saying that all the leads you got, in the areas that you picked, had something wrong with them? Seriously!

Did you try working in other areas with TM leads yet?

So you guys are telling me its normal to get a batch of leads, which cost $660 (33 each), that consists of 13 actual leads, including 3 in their 80's or higher (I always pay for the age filter) and six of them have no phone number?

I'm new at this, I've been doing it for less than 2 months. Working DM is a new experience to me, I just expected to get a bit higher quality for the price. I've ordered some leads from a different source, so we'll see how that goes.

In NJ it's higher quantity from what I understand which is my understanding but more difficult to convert. I've learned if there are no numbers you just have to go door knock them. Some people will respond differently based on what the card says. Some people won't pick up from numbers they don't know so you have to go see them.

With DM you have to pay for the envelopes, stamps, mailing them, the ink and with DM the shelf life is longer and the people will remember the cards much more easily. That's why you pay more for them.

I find the higher the income area I work, the less complete the cards are.

Same goes for more generic cards; the less specific, usually the less complete.

Makes sense; to some extent, brains and income go together - most middle-class people are sales resistant and know the shtick.

I know when I request something, unless I am already absolutely sold, I will not give my phone number to get stalked. I will, however, give my email or request information through the mail so that I maintain control of the sales conversation.
