Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find information regarding the final expense market. All the information I have found only pertains to areas such as life insurance, health insurance, automotive, etc. I know final expense is a niche market but finding any type of information on the market as a whole has been impossible for me!

I would like to find a final-expense carrier in CA where I can be independent and not captive (like Bankers Union). Can anyone suggest one?

I do healthcare but F-E seems like a 'logical' extention.

Yes, I'm looking for data on the final expense market for life insurance. Preferably data or an overview on low face amount final expense business. The type of data I'm looking for is like a general final expense industry overview. Such as top producers, future and currents trends of final expense business, financial information, etc. I'm not looking for anything specific really more in the direction of a big picture.

Hummm, I suppose one could dig up that information. Yet I'm not sure what exactly you are seeking? Just about every company offering WL or UL's has a final expense version that fits a FE need. Maybe you should seek Pre Needs specialist, they seem to understand the bigger picture, most funeral homes of any size will have one.

Hmm basically I'm just looking for information that can describe the final expense market for life insurance. I can't think of another way to state that. For example I would like to know say who the top 5 companies are selling FE in the US. Or information stating something like the FE marketplace has grown x% as baby boomers start to age causing a rise in sales of FE products. Something of that sort is what I'm looking for a general synopsis. I dont know if that makes it more clear, thanks.

I imagine you could start with National Underwriters, if they don't have it I imagine someone associated with them do. Of course the information might come with a premium.

Thanks James, Melmunch no I'm just doing some personal research to see if its worth entering the final expense market because someone recommended that I should get into it.
