The just-released 9/23/2010 update from Humana shows a couple of items that I haven't seen before from other carriers regarding their compliance with the 9/23/10 mandates:
1. Unlimited Ambulance.
(This is big if you need to be airlifted. Had a client in a motorcycle accident and the helicopter ride was $2,300.)
2. Unlimited Mental and Drug Treatments.
(This is not the "screening" stuff...but actual treatment.)

I'm sure that both of these items are subject to the deductible, but it's nice to see that the dollar limits have been removed. Especially the mental, because ADHD doctor visits are frequent and the medications are several hundred dollars @ month.
Are we to assume that all per-service and per-treatment dollar limits are being removed from every individual major medical, or is this something that only Humana is doing in the Ambulance and Mental/Drug areas?
