Med Supp Underwriting

Ahh I see it not any of the ussuel carriers,

I just ran it and looks like its carrier I do not currently have and gues I need to contract with

Its only Woodman, Physicians mutual, Liberty bankers, and assured life

And New Era but I dont write them anymore they have low comp unless that has changed

New Era is a little less than most carriers, but it's for 7 years, not 6 like most others.

I got to look at them again I stopped using them when they updated their underwriting dramatically
That was some years ago at that time they were only 16%

Did you go direct or through an FMO? I'm at 18% in Georgia. Might be different in other states.

New Era/PALIC stopped writing the G plan a few months ago. Could be just in Georgia but I am under the impression it is nationwide.

Been so long since I've written anything with them, I completely forgot about that.

Think I was contracted through Westfall back in 2013 to get free access to his quoting and other things. at the time free CSG was not common as it is today

If he gave you 16 then he did you no favors.

I remember complaining about it on here and being told that was normal for them

I think I ended up around 17 at some point, but then they came out with new underwriting and i did not see the advantage to them anymore and stopped using them
