Training?
More gaslighting. Lol !!!

What training? Ok for new agents less than 2 years in the business but once he sticks then what?
This is a virtual business.
What's your big secret at FEX ?
Do you guys have an in person sales school where you teach in person your tricks?

TR King is for independent agents who are already on board successfully selling FE,need a little hand holding every now and then.

Keep gaslighting!
I'm not the one gaslighting. You are the one that told me that todd doesn't know anything. You didn't have to tell me that because i already knew.

I am thankful that most agents are just like and think they don't need on going training and support. I hope you, and them, stay just like you are. I wish Todd Queen had more agents.

Jd if that's the case why not take prepaid cards like green dot etc ? The people we work with the drafting is crucial . An example is CICA . I have a few clients with de I've been manually drafting the correct date as there big premiums . When I wasn't manually drafting they bounced every time . Once the yrs up they go back to regular drafting .They all want the ins but there poor for a reason .
My CICA persistency is over 90%. My KSKJ persistency was 94% and they didn't do SSB. My Aetna persistency is 100%. They don't do SSB to my knowledge. My CinnEq persistency is 95%. They claim to do SSB but they really don't.

I agree it seems to be an issue for most agents. It's not for an issue for me.

Ditto on Todd. More than one way to skin a cat.

After 50 years of this stuff I doubt that training would do me any good.
I couldn't disagree more. I learn everyday from those younger, eager agents. I'm more than willing to let them be the pioneers of new ideas now and then adapt them once vetted. My pioneering days are over.

There are many ways. And there's not a way that FEX agents aren't doing it. No is forced to get learn. There's no mandatory training at FEX. But why go to FEX unless one wants to improve?

Todd Queen is probably OK if you want to hang a contract somewhere. But so are 1000 other places.

I said training. Big difference between learning and training.

I also learn from people younger than me. I have to. A lot of the ones my age are dead now.

And it's a damn shame that you and Todd don't like each other. But it is what it is. He's one of my FMOs as well as a personal friend.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret Todd. Our agents don't even set appointments. They just doorknock to see if people are home. Then they drive back home and sell them over the phone.
Good try, but it just reeks of deflection.

Aren't you a grown man ? If you're so successful why do you continue to call people names that logically disagree with you? Are you a narcissist? Do you have borderline personality disorder? Why are you a troublemaker on here ?
You have become the drama queen of the FE forum.
Please get some help dude.

I get a kick out of you guys using setters, running appointments, whatever you call it. This is FE. We cater to low income seniors who are barely making it. It's a simple business where agents are mostly writing small face amounts between 3-15k.
Setter….."The representative will be by there between 1 and 2 pm to deliver the information you requested"
This is considered an appointment? Lol

This is a very simple business. I got into it when I learned who our target market is and you could door knock to get business . I came from the home improvement business as a one man football team where I door knocked to get the leads, provided bank financing, furnished the materials, built the job, collected my money.

I also dropped flyers, mailers. I never made appointments. Our market was shift workers at sewing plants, furniture plants, tire plants, knitting mills,retirees…..people who needed 100% financing to get their houses fixed up.

This is like being on vacation. Just moving paper around getting ACH's. Nothing to build,no workers to deal with,no job site liabilities,no warranties to stand behind,no fronting any big money,no running up big bills at warehouses.

Throughout that gig I took guys out that wanted to get into the business.. I would pull up to a house and tell them to "hit that door",most all of them would freeze and say "I'm not doing that" Lol

No balls.

Another big attraction to getting into this business was I can still enjoy my autonomy and personal freedom. I can do what I want whenever I want. If I want to go fishing I go fishing. If I want to go to the nude bar,I go and stay as long as I want. No interruptions.

I almost never make plans, buy airline tickets in advance. I live my life I day at a time, each moment at a time.
The only appointments I'm involved in are doctor, dentist, medical because I have no choice.

If I wanted a schedule, wanted to make big money in the insurance business,I'd rent an office, build a good website,do radio and print media, seminars, hire a smart secretary, sell annuities.

No need or desire. Not for me. I work to live.

No need to be an executive, have an appointment setter,do presentations,go on company trips,be on a schedule.

I'm happy for you guys who want that. I'm happy for you guys who love to bragg about how much money you're making how many applications you are writing. Lol.

I never met anyone in sales who bragged about how much money they were making. The guys making big money had too many ex wives, owed money to the government, the bookmakers. They didn't want anyone knowing their secrets.

Just love my little simple life cruising around in the beautiful countryside at my own pace looking for seniors living on social security and disability who need little FE policy.

Lol

Nothing wrong with door knocking and avoiding the phones. It's just inefficient and leads to less predictability as far as production and schedule.

Lots of FEX agents have that same mindset of "I don't want to work too hard or make the most money". So they'll set a full day of appointments on Monday, set a few more for Wednesday, and do $150K-200K annually. If that doesn't appeal to you, keep doing your own thing.

You don't have to rent an office building or hire employees to make great money. You can do it by plugging into the right system, following it, and working hard.

I actually had a FEX agent call me yesterday. He was struggling his entire first year, because he was stubborn and didn't fully buy in to the FEX system. After about 2 years with FEX and 1 year of going all in, he said he has more money in his bank account than ever (over $40K and he just paid a big tax bill).

You can doubt and hate all you want. No one is going to change your mind. But I think you'd be surprised what's possible if you were able to talk to some of these agents who have found success at FEX.

I think the local agent no matter what they sell is going to be a thing of the past in a few years.
Couldn't disagree more. There will always be a place for face-to-face agents.

And if the end is near, I'm going to produce as much as I can, while the market is strong. If we have a few years left, that's plenty of time to make a ton of money.
