I am new to selling medicare advantage so please don't beat me up for asking...... We telemarket out of our office. Are there any rules to telemarketing seniors besides the DNC list. This is new to me.

Telemarketing to seniors is a tough market. I suggest hit them with a direct mail or 1st. class letter first then follow up with them with calls. We have had good success with the senior market this way. There has to be something the senior can relate the call to. Example: Mr. Jones this is Joe Insurance agent and my office sent you a personal letter regarding blah, blah, blah Rather that hi this is Joe Agent and I was wondering if you were interested in seeing some quotes on blah, blah.....
Once again we feel the senior market WILL NOT stay on phone and let you qualify them over the phone for 5 minutes.
