Well, I guess GPS apps installed on our now ubiquitous cell phones has put an end to this long-standing tradition. Times, they are a-changing.
No they're not. Now I just argue with my wife about not turning on the GPS because "I don't need it"...lol.

I drink two types of beer: Root, and Birch. I prefer Birch.

This one is pretty good. The best ones are the home made ones you get in Berks and Lancaster counties.The only birch beer I can drink is the blue one.
I don't like it but it's blue!!'

I've really never tried one. I understand it's a big thing in your area.
I do like an occasional root beer though. I might like it.
I was going to have a real beer tonight at a place we went to.
Then I realized it's National Bourbon Day today so it was ordered to have a bourbon.
I didn't want to have a violation.

I have a friend who likes to pour a slug of Bourbon (slug = bigger than a shot but a little less than two) over ice, then top it with birch beer.
