In the last 24 hours we have received over 20 inches of snow and in the morning the wind chill will be -40 degrees, with 35 mph winds. I am thinking it will be a good day to find people at home so I should have pretty good luck delivering the policies my manager sold 2 weeks ago. I do get paid $2.50 cents per policy so its a pretty good deal. I am installing a cigarette lighter on my snowmobile as we speak so I can use my gps.

Normally I would take the day off, but my manager, Bud from Lincoln Heritage told me if I don't sell 3 new policies I will be fired.

Wish me luck!

Funny... Yeah I just moved here to the frozen tundra of Chicago to open up shop and it's supposed to be -17° Tomorrow but with the windchill it will feel like -46°... I'm used to living all over Texas where 50° is considered cold. This stuff here should only be reserved for polar bears!

Its a warm 10° F here..... power is out, hot water line is frozen, sitting at McDonald's for coffee. Gonna b a long day.

MINNEAPOLIS - The bitter cold is here as forecast. Temperatures overnight have dipped in the -20s and will likely bottom out near -28 before sunrise this morning. Winds are going to increase from the northwest at 15 to 25 mph creating wind chill values near -45° to -55° during the day today. It is critical to keep in mind exposed flesh can freeze in as few as 5 minutes with -50 degree wind chills.

It is a great day to followup on those cards I have not reached yet!

Teeing off at 10:15 this morning and it won't get to 75 until around 1pm. With a 7-10 mph wind it's not going to be comfortable at all.

Hope things go well. I'll bring a windbreaker just in case.

-2 degrees in Southern Indiana with about 1/2" of snow. Looks like the really bad stuff missed us.

-2 Xrac??? It's -15 here with -35 wind chill up in Indy. Remember seeing that line in the storm where one side was all snow and just below it was rain? We were literally 5 miles above that line. :(

You are lucky. It's -13 and feels like -42 here according to twc. We got at least 10 inches of snow. The county just north of me got 16.2 inches so im sure we got close to that too.:swoon:

Just the chance it might snow last night and they closed our school for 2 days here in Griffin GA.
