-14f and wind chill of -39f with 15 inches of snow from Sunday. I am just glad to have my electricity and internet. Some do not in Detroit.

Glad I was able to get out for 18 holes yesterday. I was almost 80 degrees but the wind was over 15 mph. Despite this I walked the entire course and even started to sweat a bit.
Today we'll start feeling the chill. High will only be 74.
I can continue to gloat until the next earthquake.

Wind chill says feels like - 36! Sun is brightly shining & it is not snowing. Schools don't close for snow around here but when the "high" for the day is below Zero, they close.

Yeah, it's so much more expensive here than New York where it's about zero right now.

New York the city might be comparable in cost of living but has lower taxes BUT you only mention less than 1% of the US (New York Island). What about the 90% of the US that is not California or New York City? Some of it even has comparable temperatures! ha
