I guess he's just frustrated that covid didn't come from Florida? But I'm pretty sure it's easy to control the spread by locking down all entry points, rather than allowing 55,000 more people travelling from China to land here word got out.

yeah did you watch that Hannity and Trump infomercial on Fox tonight ? that was funny and weird.Trump says he is going to save money for us by short paying vendors on every invoice, like he did with his business- he even slipped and mentioned short paying attorney fees like he is famous for. Trump said "they bill me for 5000 and i will offer 3000" what a maroon!
Trump is building an isolationist island around the US because he doesn't understand the term Global Economy. Heck, he can't even pronounce "Indooooostry"

Turns out, only 44,000 people born before 1920 are actually receiving benefits.
That database does not indicate payments going out. And the SSA does a lot more than just pay money to people.
That database keeps people "on record" even if they are no longer receiving benefits, until a death certificate or state supplied notice is provided. But that database he referenced does not indicate if the person is still receiving payments or not.
Partly, because the SSA does more than send money to people. They are in charge of tracking SSNs. And they do not delete an SSN until they have a confirmed death certificate or official notice from their resident state.
So.... if these highly intelligent people took 10min to ask the manager of that department about the issue.... they might not have told a huge lie to millions of US Citizens. Or, perhaps that was the point. But I digress.

But this is the big issue with the methods DOGE is using. They are not taking time to understand the issue before making statements, or worse, taking action.
Fired the experts stopping the current bird flu outbreak..... and now they want them back.
Fired the nuclear weapons experts.... and now they want them back.
Fired experts in the Treasury who fight money laundering.... now they want them back.
