What Happens with Contract when Your MA is Bought by Another?

Suppose Agent is contracted with an MA, then that MA is purchased by another. Does Agent automatically get contracted with both MAs and able to sell both product families?

What if Agent is forbidden to sell the products of the Purchaser Co due to "termination for cause"? Would the Purchaser terminate "both" contracts? Or allow to continue on the purchased Co, but still not allowed to sell the Purchaser Co's products?

There is no standard answer for that, but termination for cause is a big deal. The best thing to do is to check with their contracting department, but odds are the answer is they won't allow them to rep their product.
