GoodRx - What's the catch?

I think I'm way behind. I probably should have started recommending GoodRx to my clients a long time ago.

Before I do, am I missing something?

What's the catch?

I would find a RX Card that is competitive with them, but that pays a referral commission on every fill.

I get paid $2.50 every time one of my peeps fills a script. Average # of fills per month is 4 . . .

I tell all of my clients to always check prices for drugs three ways: 1) on their insurance plan 2) on GoodRx, and 3) if they pay cash. I found out years ago, by accident, that I'd save about $50 on a drug just by NOT running it through my insurance. Pharmacists generally won't tell customers that they could save money in one of these ways.

Pharmacists are terrible at that don't tell people when they are paying huge copays just because they have the hydrochlorothiazide as a combo drug instead of separate

I just became appointed to sell Clever Rx. You get $1.50 per filled script with a minimum of $50 payout. Been to busy to market it yet.

Let me know what you think about it I got pitched and started to contract but got overloaded with emails then AEP so I held off on looking into it for now

I know that wasn't addressed to me, however I just tried a quick look from curiosity.
kgmom mentioned 3 meds she recommended goodrx for in post 12 of her planfinder 2021 thread.

The cleverrx site is mostly black with white lettering and a yellow box for the word search. I intensely dislike the appearance. entering the drugs does not seem as user friendly to me as goodrx or rxgo. The cleverrx searches seemed to me to take longer than the other two sites and required disabling of a couple of security programs. I don't understand the medications well enough to be sure I entered comparable medication descriptions on each site, but at first impression I was not impressed with cleverrx pricing compared to goodrx or rxgo.

My personal opinion would be not to recommend it to any of your good customers until you have had a chance to check it out and think it will be useful to them.

Ohh it would not be instead of Good RX just an additional resource for those not getting enough from Good RX that I can get a commission from

However, if its not that Good I won't waste my time

Good RX will still be given as first choice
