NEW CMS REGS COMING.....

With all these marketing restrictions how will turning 65 people know about their options? Will many just pick up A and maybe B with no knowledge about a supplement? Then there's the PDP..

Don't worry Natalie Nguyen from Milan (purely fictional, don't sue) will make sure they all get a nice call about their food benefit for MAPD.

Just note that not every senior market and final expense agent in America has to adopt your favored business model in order to be successful.

Your not even a licensed agent so you have no idea about the mkt . When one works leads 90% of who answer those leads are lower middle to low income people . 2-5 yrs ago many of those middle income had med sups . A great many of those have migrated to zero premium mapd . It’s the reality of the mkt . So if he has a call center working leads a great % of those will be low middle to low income not interested in med sups .If you want to sell med sups do seminars or mailers targeting income $75k and above . Work your Med sup base hard for referrals. Target higher incomeT-65 .

Did you bother to notice that he also sells FE?

If he is selling FE and MediGap, paying his bills and making a profit, he doesn't need you telling him he needs to stop giving away his MAPD business in order to survive.

Now that Integrity marketing owns the entire retail medicare market I hope they will go to bat for us on the 48hr SOA rule.

In the YouTube from Neishloss & Fleming titled “CMS Proposes New Guidelines”, Bill does not indicate any particular game plan from their side of the street. Integrity Marketing isn’t going to rock the CMS cash cow boat. Bill simply suggests that you the agent contact NAHU. NAHU had zero impact at the federal level this past summer and CMS is a three letter Federal Agency with zero love for independent agent. Next summer’s MAPD product rollout meetings will have fewer agents just like 2022. The Indy Agent might as well have a large target on their back.

I agree with this . Bill has been blasting join Nahu they fight for the agent . Cms laughed at nahu and didn’t listen to 1 thing they said in the past yr.Same will happen in 2024 . The huge gravy train for fmo’s is threatened going forward . Integrity bought most of these fmo’s for the medicare gravy . Its going to be very hard to compliantly run a medicare business in the yrs to come for an independent agent. For instance 1 proposal for 2024 is at educational seminars you can get no soa’s from the attendee .You can get no contact information from anyone. Why would you screw with it then? In the years to come this will be call centers and carriers taking inbound calls for the most part . In the 2024 cms letter they want carriers to police agents much more . They want them to listen in to calls more and ‘report infractions to cms and work with state ins depts” . So they will use the carriers as their henchmen . An agents renewals they worked so hard for will be at great risk .Agents will be scared to sell . Its coming to aca also . When the gov’t pays the bills they control the game.

Justin Brock had a video about what fmo’s make on mapd which i already knew. They make $250 to $400 per app upfront . They make around $150 an app on the renewal . He said huge fmo’s have been known to get $5 million to $20 million marketing money a yr from the carriers. Also something I didn’t know till this yr is how carriers get around extra comp to fmo’s and agents is the “non taxable” marketing reimbursement . So some big agents or agency’s can work out deals with regionals for huge up front money to write “ key word for roll” a certain amount of apps from one carrier to another during aep or oep . The carriers greed for business the last yrshas caused this . Look at the stk prices of the mapd carriers . Near all time highs .

Keep in mind that your recorded call does not require the DOJ Civil Rights Division or the Carrier to listen to the entire one and a half hour conversation. All they have to do is use a key word search such as “Best Plan”. Since carriers are the enforcers they will most likely want all calls recorded or stored on their system similar to the SOA. They are going to be doing random call enforcements. Seems like a great way to steal your renewals. Of course if you loose your renewals the FMO always gets to keep theirs. See a pattern here?
