Also never rewrite a client to a sister company because it does not reset the 6 year period for renewals. Example if someone had Family Life and you switch them to Manhattan Life, the 6 year period will end based on the effective date of her original Family Life policy. And now that they have added Western United they are in the same category as Mutual of Omaha and are dead to me.

Mutual of Omaha is NOT like the other companies. You can roll most Mutual of Omaha companies med supps to another Mutual Of Omaha Company and the 6 year high commission period starts over. That is crucial. You loose 2 or 3 percentage points but who cares. Mutual of Omaha is no saint but they are the coolest by far of all the medicare supp companies. Heck yesterday they even sent me a box of chocolate chip cookies. I ate 2 of them and threw the rest out. Mutual is infamous for their cheap perks but its the thought that counts.
